AMERSFOORT, THE NETHERLANDS — FrieslandCampina Ingredients is launching Kievit Instant Milk Cap Powder. The ingredient may be used to create an indulgent layer on top of a variety of drinks, including tea, coffee, chocolate and fruit drinks.
The milk cap powder caters to the personalization trend by allowing for diverse and unique drinks, the company said. It may be blended with milk or water and may be added to both hot and cold beverages. It also allows for a distinct top foam layer as well as a blended “latte” effect.
“If variety is the spice of life, it is personalization that will keep the millennials and Generation Z coming back for more,” said Tracy Joy Fortu, segment marketer for food service at FrieslandCampina. “For example, adding different sprinkles, syrups or sweet marshmallows to a beverage allows consumers to match their drink to their mood and ring the changes every day.”
